Main Hall

The Joseph W. Diehn Main Hall is the largest event space offered in Sylvania! With a seating capacity of 300 people, our hall can accommodate almost any type of event with our hard-surfaced dance floor. Since 1972, we’ve hosted hundreds of weddings, birthday parties, live music concerts, military retirement ceremonies, craft shows and more! We have banquet and round tables available for your event – so if you can imagine it – we can make it a reality! Events in our main hall also have direct access to our kitchen and back-bar if desired.

Small Hall / Meeting Room

Our small hall is conveniently located just off our parking lot and has quick access to our social quarters and restrooms. If food is being served, the kitchen is also right across the hallway. Our versatile meeting room can accommodate up to 50 guests and includes a wet-bar option in the back of the room. We also have a 42” flat screen TV located at the front of the room if needed for presentations or movie screenings. Our small hall has hosted several HOA meetings, book clubs, government committees, birthday parties, gender-reveals and wedding/baby showers! Local organizations, clubs, sports teams and groups receive access to this hall for FREE twice per year!


The backyard of the Joseph W. Diehn post is perfect for your outdoor events! Whether you’re planning a corporate adventure-style event for your staff, or a family reunion game of kickball – we have the space you need! Our yard is quiet and private as it’s bordered by trees on 3 sides. Outdoor wedding ceremonies have also taken place in our yard, as well as “big-tent” events and fundraisers.

Private Pool Table

Enjoy a private setting in our back room – away from the crowd, to play on an antique wooden pool table with recently refinished felt top and leather pockets. Tables and chairs are available in the room for your comfort. Please contact the Social Quarters manager for reservations. Play is limited to times when there are no events in the main hall.

No matter the size of your event, our Ladies Auxiliary catering team can take your guests experience to the next level! Our Auxiliary has a great menu to choose from and can take suggestions due to our commercial kitchen!
