The U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs estimates that 20 veterans complete suicide every single day. With the month of May being “Mental Health Awareness Month,” we plan to once again create a stunning display that represents this tragedy. On May 1st at 4:00pm, come out to the Post and help us place 620 white flags on our front lawn – to represent the number of veterans who will likely lose their lives to suicide in the month of May.
